So whats happened recently. Well we did the race for life which was great fun and also raised alot of money for charity. See photo's stolen from Karen. I learned a new knitting technique for the race for life as we were knitting on our way round the course. I now love magic loop, i managed to complete a pair of socks in just over a week. But i think the best thing to happen to me all week is the fact that i was on Saturday Kitchen. There is a section of the show where viwers can call in and ask a question so i did and i got on. I was so excited! I have a clip that my sister took an her phone but i'm not sure i can post it. Oh wait i did it! I am really chuffed with myself for doing it! They did spell my name wrong though, never mind!
And you a vegetarian too! lol Only kidding, well done. Its like a bus your blog , nothing for ages then three posts at once , or so it seems, lol Great photo's
Well i was using my posh voice! Don't think i'm fancy because of the duck breasts, i got them in the reduced section, have you seen the price of them! Of course i didn't tell them that on the telly! lol
...as the title suggests i am a 20 something who knits.
I only took up knitting about two and a half years ago but in that time my passion has taken over, literally. I have a stash of yarn so big i think it could almost be seen from space.
I meet a wonderful group of like minded people every Thursday for coffee and knitting. It is two hours when i don't have to think about anything else apart from my knitting and i know that these people understand the hold knitting gets on you. It is a group of many talents. We have, of course, excellent knitters, crocheters and even spinners. We also have a man, my lovely husband Lewis, which is most unusual for a knitting group but he does make an intresting addition.
Enough about that, i have some knitting to do!
